Lenovo Announces 10-inch Ideapad S10 NetBook Powered By ATOM N270 Processor
The Lenovo IdeaPad S10 Netbook is powered by 1.6 GHz Intel Ultra Low Voltage ATOM N270 with 512-KB L2 Cache, 533 MHz FSB on Intel US15W Chipset Motherboard, and it offers 1-GB DDR2 667 MHz SDRAM (max 4-GB in 2 slots), a 160-GB 5400 rpm SATA hard drive and does not have any internal optical drive.
The Lenovo S Series netbooks are thin, and light weight and offer many convenient features like OneKey data recovery tools, Lenovo Direct Share that allows share photos, files, bookmarks and emails with other PCs without using internet, password protection and industry-leading customer service for a worry-free experience.
The Intel Atom processor uses a new design structure that packs in 47 million transistors into a single chip sized of just 22mm, and it uses less than 1/10th of the 35 watts power used by an Intel Core 2 Duo processor resulting is less heat output.
