HP has launched a new ultra-thin HP Pavilion dv2 Laptop that is powered by 1.6 GHz Single-Core AMD Athlon Neo Processor MV-40 with 1-MB L2 Cache, 800 MHz FSB featuring ATI Xpress 1100 chipset motherboard, 4-GB PC5300 677 MHz DDR2 SDRAM, 320-GB Serial-ATA 5400 rpm (150 Mbps) hard disk drive and 8X double layer DVD Writer with 8.5 GB data capacity.

Sporting a sleek Espresso Black all-magnesium-alloy casting, the new HP Pavilion dv2 laptop boasts of AMD Athlon Neo platform, previously code-named Yukon, and is powered by all new ultra-low-power consuming 1.6 GHz Single-Core Athlon Neo Neo MV-40 Processor which is claimed to offer more power than comparable Intel ATOM series of processor used in most of the small screen netBook PCs and features integrated ATI Mobility Radeon dedicated graphics with dedicated video memory ideal for graphic intensive applications and gaming.
