Dell Unveiled Vostro 1710 Laptop With 17-inch Display

The Dell Vostro 1710 Series laptop PC, largest of the new Vostro series is powered by 1.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T5670 with 2-MB L2 Cache, 800 MHz FSB featuring Mobile Intel 965GM Express Chipset, 2-GB DDR2 667 MHz SDRAM, 250-GB 5400 rpm SATA hard drive and a 8X DVD Super Multi Double layer (8.5 GB) DVD Writer.

Weighing 3.21 Kgs with 6-cell battery the Dell Vostro 1710 series Laptop PC features a large 17-inch (43.1 cm) WXGA+ Widescren Active Matrix LCD TFT display powered byNVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS graphics chipset with 256-MB dedicated GDDR3 video memory offering upto 1440 x 900 pixels screen resolution with 16.7 million colors.
